The Moscow Mule recipe is made with good quality vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice. There have been a couple of warm days in the Midwest, so it’s been having me crave the perfect summertime refresher. I was definitely counting my eggs before they hatched because we went back into colder, rainy days.
The first time I had a Moscow Mule was a few weeks ago, and now it has become my go to drink! I even went out of my way to buy these awesome metal cups just to make one at home. It is a very easy cocktail to make and so refreshing. If you like ginger, then you will love this drink. The ginger is slightly spicy in this drink, which I love because it adds a variety of flavor to your traditional cocktail.
- 4 ounces vodka
- Juice of one lime
- 6 ounces cold ginger beer
- garnish with lime wedges and mint
- Fill the glass with ice to keep it cool
- This serves one, but is easily multiplied in several glasses
- Pour the vodka into a mug or an iced glass. Squeeze the lime over the vodka, and drop the wedge into the mug if desired. Fill the glass with the 6 oz ginger beer and add crushed ice if wanted.
- This serves one, but is easily multiplied in several glasses
Moscow Mules are one of my favorite drinks! Love those mugs, what a fun take on the classic copper ones!
