Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups quick oats
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl with a hand held mixer of standup mixer cream butter sugar and brown sugar together until well combined
  2. Mix in eggs
  3. Add vanilla
  4. In a separate bowl add flour baking soda and salt and mix together
  5. Slowly add dry ingredients into the wet and mix until well combined
  6. By hand, with a spoon, or spatula fold the oats into the batter
  7. Cover and set in the fridge for at least 1 hour before baking.
  8. Preheat oven to 375
  9. Grease 2 cookie sheets and roll dough into a ball and place onto cookie sheet. About 1 tablespoon in size.
  10. With your palm press the cookies down lightly about halfway.
  11. Bake for 8-10 minutes
