If you love tea, like I do, this delicious chamomile hot toddy is for you! It is cold where I live in the western suburbs of Chicago, and I am always on the hunt for something to make me feel warm and toasty during the winter months. This is definitely one of those drinks that gives me that warm, toasty feeling. Chamomile is known to be a great tea to help you feel calm and is great to drink before bed. This drink is perfect if you need to wind down for the evening.
Now brandy is not something I reach for when getting a cocktail, but it is perfect in this. I have grown to appreciate the taste. Experimenting with this is great too; you can add an orange slice or I have also seen a recipe where they grated some nutmeg into it. Haven’t tried that one, but who knows, it probably tastes amazing. You can even substitute the brandy for a dark rum or whiskey.
Try this out and share your thoughts. Enjoy!
